Sonnymoon - Wild Rumpus
Well, I’m sharing this song “Wild Rumpus” of Sonnymoon, not really for the musical quality but for the aesthetics of the video clip. Pretty different and interesting work.
Clu - Evening Ever

Even if I’m not a big electro fan, I found this pretty cool atmospheric electro performed by the Irish duo Clu. Today’s song is “Evening Ever”.
SoKo - We Might Be Dead By Tomorrow

Brand new SoKo clip with the single “We Might Be Dead By Tomorrow” from the album “I Though I Was An Alien”. I’m not a big fan of artist comparison but this time, it really sounds like Arcade Fire but the clip is pretty amazing.
Rhye - Open (In a living room)
I always though that it was a girl singing (am I so stupid) but they betrayed themselves tagging the video. This duo is in fact composed by Milosh and Robin Hannibal.
Pickwick - Live from The Basement

Wandering through the swell of the web, I dug out this really good mix between indie soul & rock. Here’s a live by a Seattle based band called Pickwick. The two songs are “Hacienda Motel” and “Window Sill”.
Nerves Junior - Swimmer’s Ear

I’ve always been a fan of young Muse, their first albums, and I don’t know why, this “Swimmer’s Ear” from Nerves Junior reminds me a bit of them. I feel like a pimply teenager once again.
Le Common Diamond - Go Out For A Walk

Pretty good brand new brand from Toulouse, I’ve named Le Common Diamond. Enjoy their single “Go Out for A Walk”. To be continued.
Woodkid - Run Boy Run

Brand new WTF clip from Woodkid on the occasion of the new EP “Run Boy Run”. They have imagination, so to say.
Cold Specks - Winter Solstice (Live)

The Cold Specks’ album “I Predict A Graceful Explosion” is out today. As a present, here’s a live of “Winter Solstice”.
Me and My Drummer - Runner (Reprise)

Music can be so simple yet so amazing. Even if we enjoy the voluminous effects of dramatic orchestral sounds such as sometimes employed by bands like Arcade Fire, other groups prove that there is not always need for a high variety of instruments. An good example for “less is more” are Me and My Drummer, a duo of two young musicians from Berlin. They’ve been out there for a while now and already caught our attention as they were touring with Einar Stray earlier this year. I guess we all know this syndrome that sometimes, the support act on a concert is such a magnificent group that they totally knock out the (also excellent) main act’s performance. It is maybe the surprising effect of such an unexpected greatness which strikes us the most. Idem for the two Berliners: They left their audiences with open mouths, shaken hearts and goosebumps all over – physical as well as emotional. Musical finesse meets an intimate atmosphere, both offered by two authentic musicians who can be count to be one of the today’s most promising acts from Germany’s still moving capital. One of my favourites is Runner (Reprise), an acoustic piece of haunting intimacy, built on organ sounds and carried by singer Charlotte Brandi’s memorable vocals. En plus, they just released their debut album The Hawk, the Beak, the Prey on Berlin based Sinnbus Records. A listen is highly recommended.
Aline - Je Bois Et Puis Je Danse (2012)

Today, listen to brand new Aline “Je Bois Et Puis Je Danse” (= I drink and then I dance). The 3 songs EP is out since may 14th.
Donna Summer - Last Dance(Live 1978)
Let’s pay homage to Donna Summer for a Last Dance.
BNRS - Mexico (Live 2012)

Les Nuits Botanique is an event organized by la Botanique in Brussels, in partnership with the excellent blog “Disco Naïveté”. Here’s a live from BRNS, a local band, done in the occasion of this event.
GoldWave - Snow (2012)

What an amazing song composed by this 5 french youngsters from GoldWave. Catchy guitars & bass supported by a delicious grave voice. That’s my sin, I can’t resist. Check out this clip for “Snow”.
